This is who I am!
My name is Phillip Bishop
and I am 16 years old. I am a Junior at Horlick High School which is located
in Racine, Wisconsin. I like computers, computer games, video games, bike
riding, swimming, movies, electronics, and of course, TV. I would like
to go to MSOE when I graduate from high
school to study Electronics in the Technical Engineering field.
My favorite video game system
is the Nintendo 64. I have four games so far: Super Mario 64, Wave Race
64, Super Mario Kart 64 and Star Fox 64. I have two controllers, one gray
and the other green. I have one controller pak and the Rumble Pak. The
Rumble Pak came with Star Fox 64. I also own a Super Nintendo with eight
games. I am "unofficially"
selling my Super Nintendo and games. If you wish to make an offer contact
me by clicking on my name above. Playing multi-player games on the Internet
or over the modem with my friends is always fun, too. My two favorites
are Duke Nukem 3D and WarCraft II Tides Of Darkness.
I also like listening to
music, but not usually the typical music of an average teenager. I like
to listen mainly to soundtracks from movies or TV shows. That's instrumental
music, people! My favorites are Star Trek Generations, Star Trek First
Contact, Jurassic Park, Apollo 13, and Independence Day.
This got my attention quickly.
The MP3, or MPEG Layer 3, format. It is a really neat compression format
for .WAV files. Normally you would not want an entire song in .WAV format
on your computer, because it would take up WAY too much space. With this
compression format it is possible to compress a 12 MB .WAV file and shrink
it to a 1 MB .MP3 file. This is CD sound quality with: Stereo, 16-bits,
and as much as a 44.1 kHz sample rate! Most MP3 files are approximately
3 to 5 MB each and contain ENTIRE songs! The best and most complete MP3
site that I have found isDucttape
Deeznuts. This site has literally thousands of
.MP3s in just about every category of music that you could imagine! If
you want MP3s, you have to check this site out!!
