In other news, the Mike who normally does CNN of STF hasn't been here in ages. So.... by STF tradition, another Mike must steal CNN until his return. Who wants to bet he shows up and makes a stink about this? =)
In some real news, President Greg "The Big Cahuna" Hertsch has announced the condensing of STF into two ships. After Captain Den "What about me?" Hannigan pointed out he had no assignment, President "El Duce" Hertsch immediately reactivated the Angel, bringing the fleet to three ships.
Phillip "Catgut" Bishop had no comment, which in and of itself, was a shock to this reporter.
In other news, a recent increase of membership has occured, despite the fact that some older members are on leave for a few weeks of well earned summer vacation. We at SNN wish to welcome Commander Jack "Where'd STNG go?" Horner, Ensign Rune "Wake up Dan!" Walsh, Ensign "I want my" M TV, and Ensign "Doctor, Doctor" Rika to the fleet. Not that the rest of you aren't cool to have around as well - but we at SNN are always looking for fresh mea.. er.. people to write about. Yeah, that's the ticket =)
An unconfirmed rumor indicates that Nick "No, I don't have a baby in the" Oven and Greg "Road_Man" Hertsch, among others, have begun work on a real home for STF on the web, at http://www.star-fleet.com. Why a .com was picked for a non-commersial site, this reporter doesn't know. What this reporter does know, however, is that Nick et al. are working very hard on it, and it's gonna be great when its done. Nice work. (Of course, if you keep doing things right, what am I gonna joke about?)
Finally, Jen "CL" Long of STC has been sticking her nose in STF occasionally. She is considered armed, (considering she has two of them, according to unconfirmed rumors) and potentially harmless. At least mostly harmless.
