Description: An experience unlike the starships, yet still a mainstream RPG area, Outpost 42 is a place for serious RPers. Not to say that we don't have fun - in fact we have a lot! Outpost 42 orbits the planet Gamma Tiltium IV. It is the most coreward (and thus furthest from the Federation proper) Starfleet outpost in existence. Near the Romulan Neutral Zone, it was originally constructed as a defense base against this hostile power. In the decade since the Dominion War, however, it has been the site of increased civilian traffic as the socio-economic and political climates of the region improve, as well as increased interaction with the Romulan Star Empire as the two great powers foster a spirit of cautious cooperation.
