Departments
Personnel Department: As the sole department in charge of member placemens, the Personnel Department's goal is to provide each player with the best role-playing environment, while assisting each ship with its personnel needs.

Internet Department: The Internet Department is responsible for managing and maintaining STF's real-world technology infrastructure, including but not limited to any servers, application code, web sites, etc. It is empowered to set and maintain policy relating to the acquisition, development, and use of such resources in order to maintain the security and stability of STF's technological infrastructure.

Gamemaster Department: The Gamemaster Department is a resource to Gamemasters, COs, and the membership on matters relating to GMing and in-character activity. The GMD maintains the standards of GMing by means of regulations, as well as maintaining a public record of the status of all registered or licensed Gamemasters.

Engineering Department: The purpose of the Engineering Department is to ensure that all ships have usable specs. The department also reviews any proposals for new technology.

Academy: The purpose of the Academy is to give role players the tools to empower their role playing, both through Academy courses and on training ships.

The Mentor Program: The goal of this program is to provide new members with all the support they might need, through one on one attention from a personal mentor.

The Yearbook: In the yearbook, a picture is kept of all current and past members who have requested to be placed in it.

The Ship Profiles and Vacancies Page: On this page, a supposedly up-to-date description and list of vacancies, as stated by the CO, is kept for every RPG area within the club.

The STF Map: The purpose of the STF Map project is to add to the realism and depth of the STF Role-Playing environment by creating a stellargraphy (geography in space) that is unique to each Fleet. By encouraging a Fleet to develop its own stellargraphic character, it provides a consistent backdrop for GMs and role players to build upon, which creates more vivid, interesting missions and stories.

The Technical Manual: The tech manual provides a reference of all ship specifications and technologies specific to STF, as a resource from players an GM 's.

The Mission Archive: The mission archive serves as a resume for GMs, and as an in-character "history" of STF, so that people can look back and see what aliens attacked whom when and how they were defeated.

The Reference Manual: The reference manual provides an IC database for all species, locations, powers, and other sim-related information specific to STF, with the exception of ships and technology (which go into the EDept 's tech manual).

The Players Handbook: The Player 's Handbook strives to provide a detailed, yet accessible overview of everything the average player might ever want to know about this club and its mechanics.
