Allrightythen folks. Same place, same stuff, same whiny high-pitched voice. Only this time, we can afford to be more frequent: I have BBNM! yess! finally!

Our Beloved Comrade Rebecca "Becca" Juarez is leaving us. Citing cost as a reason, the first joint FComm of both F1 and F2 is leaving us. She also was in charge, lately, of the Personnel Department, which she is leaving, along with the rest of her positions, to Dennis "Plumber boy" Hannigan. Becca promises to log on using a different ID until near the end of the month.
The Engineering Department, showing an uncharacteristic burst of activity, has no less than four prototype ship designs under consideration. If you're an Engineer, you oughta be there. Interested guests can also put their two cents in. The current leadership of the ED consists of Velos "Bajor Boy" Larech, Mike "CE Forever" Ballway, and Randy "Without power, you are powerless" McCullick.
Another surprise Back-From-The-Dead this week is the Officer's Council, headed by none other than the aforementioned Velos "'tronmeister" Larech. If you have no idea what the OC is, I don't blame you. If you do know what it is, quick, go the path of Misamore, because you've been in this club too long <g>. All kidding aside, though: If your ship is not represented in the OC, then get yerself down there and represent your people. Velos has already started a Roll Call; just answer it. The OC is, officially, a Forum For The People of STF. Like the Senate, only without Al Gore.
A recent survey of STF citizens showed that by the overwhelming percentage of 75%-20%, more STFers prefer Froot Loops to Frosted Flakes. 5% declined comment.
And now, the weekly Mike Update:
- Commodore Mike "Yours Truly" Ballway is still alive and well, much to everyone's dismay
- Admiral Mike "Barcbutt" Barclay is missing and presumed AWOL, although the latest wire says he was abducted by Klingons. This report is as of yet unconfirmed.
- Flag Admiral Mike "Big Cheez-Whiz" Cathcart is still "Out there," although reports say he is "getting a new modem" and should be back on Prodigy "soon"
That's all the news on my desk as of 1-15-95.

There is a three-year anniversary party (for me, otherwise it wouldn't be in this update <vvvbg>) being held in SB93 at Ten-Forward. All are invited.
A new Chat meet has been suggested for sometime in the next two weeks. If you are "Chat-ready" or capable of becoming so, this might interest you. Normally the big brass show up for this stuff, and everyone gets to voice their opinions in real time on equal ground; see "STF CHAT"
Well, those are really the only special bulletins I can think of As Of 1-15 . . .
