Hi there, and welcome back to another fun-filled issue of SNN UPDATE, your place for information about STF events since Stardate 94090.9!
Today we have an Election Update, an OC Update, and a Special Bulletin about an upcoming CHAT Meet! Yes! You heard it here first!

The OC has been showing unprecedented signs of life, threatening to eclipse the previous record of 12 bills in one year -- only three months in. Here straight from the Senate Chambers on Corusc- er, ummm, OC Chambers in the Command area, is Pollmeister Peter, SNN political correspondant:
- BILL 001-96: aaaPrez Mike "The Muck Stops Here" Ballway has signed into law this peice of legislation. 001 standardizes the Stardates, ship names, and ship classes.
- BILL 002-96: After a month of inactivity, this bill will be voted on soon. Go up and see for yourself.
- BILL 003-96: R.E. "I Am the Law" McCullick's piece about ED reforms has passed and been signed into law. Look for the ED in its new prefix, "STF - ED . . ."
- BILL 004-96: R.E.'s second bill, about AWOLs, has passed and been signed into law
- BILL 005-96: This bill is about appointing a CO in the absence of a Prez; debate continues.
- BILL 006-96: A revised edition of this bill, about the election of the president, is going up today.
- BILL 007-96: Another bill still in debate. Go up there and put in your two cents.
- BILL 008-96: Aaron "Robert's Rules Of Order" Holland's bill has passed and been signed into law. This bill lays down the parliamentary procedure to be followed in the OC.
- BILL 009-96: A new bill, about the creation of multiple identities.
Switching from Legislative to Executive, with about 1/5 of all precincts reporting in, R.E. "Law & Order" McCullick (and running mate Nick "Pantera Boy" Oven) are engaged in a near-tie Death Grip with Greg "You Can't Spell My Name" Hertzsch and Adam "H-Bomb" Hesch. Your vote could count, so vote for one or the other -- or Ken "AWOL Baby" Marklan -- by Email-replying to me. Be sure to give the full name of the ticket you are voting for.

That's right, friends I am now the President of STF (until Next UPDATE, which will be after the April 7th Inauguration). Isn't that scary?
