Well now, in the aftermath of the STF Winter 96-97 Election, there's been quite a bit of newsworthy stuff happening here on Prodigy. Unfortunately, we here at SNN Center were covering STF and missed it all.

Actually, there was quite a bit of neat stuff that we did cover, and everything from cabinet appointments to, well, cabinet appointments can be found below. Oh, and yes, some information on what happened at tonight's CHAT meet

=/\= THE NEW ADMINISTRATION

  •    President Greg "I had forgotten about that!" Hertzsch in his 27 Fb adress expressed optimism concerning Prodigy's recent recruiting upturn and says that recruiting should be easy with all the new members if we do it right. The Prez recommended not only the reinstatement of the Recruiting Department (and the appointment of an RDir) but also increased RPG involvement in the club, stating that if other people browsing through Sci-Fi Game Clubs saw us having fun, they'd want to also. Tim "Uh, never mind" Reilley quickly motioned to have Greg impeached, which prompted Owen "Stay put" Townes's invocation of his favorite STF institution, the so-called Thought Police (does anyone else know what he's talking about? Is he still mad at us? <g>). Back to the main story, though: PDir Aaron "Apparently you're not alone" Holland then remarked to the Prez that Randy "?" McCullick had consolidated the RD and PD, with Recruiting and H.R. duties going to the PDir. Pres. Hertzsch is considering this as we, umm, communicate.
  •    In a 20 Fb note in the PD, The aforementioned President Greg "So now we have" Hertzsch posted the current Cabinet roster, including all Cabinet-level positions excepting the Academy Commandant. And here they are:
  •    Inside sources in the Engineering Department have received the following unconfirmed information: EDir Owen "I'm . . . an iconoclast" Townes has apparently decided to recommission the ED Triumvirate. During the last term, EDir Mike "Da Pub" Ballway had AEDir Aaron "BRB" Holland and DockMaster Randy E. "Gerry" McCullick as part of his ruling council; In this term, apparently Owen has decided to take on Nick "It is RE's fault!" Oven and Mike "It was a triumvirate!" Ballway on as AEDir and DockMaster, respectively.
  •    And during our CHAT meet tonight, attended by Coriolis (Owen), Torpedo20 (Phil B.), Cray Z (Mike B.), PICKLEGUY (Nick), The Road Man (Greg), and for a short time, AHolland (obvious), we discussed the ED, the new term, and Randy "Mysteriously Absent" McCullick. Everything that affects STF as a whole that was discussed will probably be posted to the Membership in adresses from the Prez and VP.
