Welcome once again to SNN UPDATE, the only STF newsletter that comes complete with a self-image to match its price. Since we offer our inaccurate reporting totally gratis, well, I'll leave you to form your own conclusion about our psychological well-being.
Anyway, we've got a full two weeks' of news to report, so. . . .

STFLegal: Proud new direction? In what appears to be the first legal case in STF history, F1's Aaron "Mine, all mine" Holland is seeking a retraction from IDir Nick "My Web Page Is Bigger Than Yours" Oven. For more on this stunning development, we turn to Paralegal Peter, our law expert:
"Mr. Holland wrote an official complaint to President Hertzsch in the latter's office, demanding that Mr. Oven cease and desist displaying 'plagiarized' material on star-fleet.com. The material in question consists of one (1) Fleet One Homepage, maintained by Mr. Holland at [http://pages.prodigy.com/STFpages/4most1-f.html]. Mr. Oven apparently has copied that material onto a page of his at [http://star-fleet.com/fleet1.html]. No word yet as to how the Prez will handle Holland v. Oven."

In a related story Mike "Okay, okay, I'll put the page up!" Ballway has begun posting his ZMP (Zygweebil Mufasa Productions) pages on star-fleet.com. What does this mean? Just thought you'd like to know . . . we've beaten the record for Most Internet Addresses Given Out In One Issue. By a lot.
In the ED, debate continued on the Trafalgar Class as well as on Gerry "What have I stepped into?" Martin's new Kirk Class (some would find that name to be an oxymoron, Gerry). Both ships are warships. The Trafalgar, if approved (it is in the final stage) would be the third ship of the New Fleet to be so honored; Only the Trin-mk3, currently under redevelopement by Nick "My Ship Is Later Than Yours" Oven, would remain. Discussion on Starfleet Marines equipment also continued.
"Happy Trip"s go out to Aaron "I'll See You In Court!" Holland and Owen "I don't carry a shotgun to my neighbor's house" Townes, both of whom are out of town this week.
