Standard fleet AWOL policy is 3 days for CO, XO and GM. 5 days for DH. 7 for JO's.
The USS Ogawa operates on an AWOL policy of 4 days for all officers and crew!
The Scottie Testing Centre operates on an AWOL policy of 3 days for Command and Senior Officers, and 5 days for all other officers and crew!
Variations to the Attendance Policy must be posted on the ship on which they apply. They are immediately considered "approved" to support CO discretion, but should be forwarded to the FComm to be noted on this Policy page. AWOL guidelines may be relaxed owing to emergency circumstances provided the FComm is advised; between sims it is understood that AWOL guidelines may be relaxed at CO discretion.
The chain of command for fleet one is as follows:
JO --> DH --> XO --> CO --> AFComm --> FComm --> President
Chain of command within a ship is determinable by the CO. When a CO creates a new position or chooses to eliminate a DH position, the FComm should be informed.
Fleet reports must be submitted by the CO, XO and GM of a ship. The AFComm and FComm will submit reports as well.
Reports are to be submitted by the 25th of every month by all personnel. Any LOA or exemptions from responsibility owing to an emergency should be brought to FComm attention. Failure to submit a required report by day's end of the 25th will result in the ship losing one point from its overall evaluation score. If the report is not submitted by the end of the month, the overall evaluation will be reduced by an additional point, and the report will not be included in the month's FComm Report to Command.
Hiring of GMs is left to CO discretion, with a general encouragement for all ships to utilize a GMT whenever possible. It is asked that the FComm be made aware when a sim has ended, and when a new sim begins.
All ships in Fleet 1 gladly accept graduates from STF Academy, according to their edicts.
