Command Staff

FComm -- Commodore Emma Rouse-Deane, CO, USS Asimov
AFComm -- Captain Tara Manini, CO, Starbase 202

Fleet News and Briefs

With Stuart Coll taking an iLOA means there is currently a vacancy on the Columbus in the GM slot. Starbase 202 has just recently secured the services of a new GM, so that sim will be starting shortly, all things permitting and the rest of the fleet is more or less status quo. There are still plenty of open places throughout the ships if anyone is interested in getting onboard, contact the respective CO's.

Tara's Bit:

There is certainly a lot of action in Fleet 4 right now. Many of the ships are deep in sims and things are quite fast paced. I am glad to see that things are picking up! I am very proud of everyone in the Fleet and will say one thing-keep it up!

USS Alliance

CO: Larry Garfield
XO: Ton Geurts
GM: Ton Geurts

CO Report:

The plot has picked up in the past month in most places. After guns failed, we're trying a two-pronged approach to stop the evil alien spaceship full of aliens in suspended animation. Some LOAs have hit us of late, including (naturally), the CO and GM, due to assorted RL unpleasantries. RL, as always, gets in the way. Unfortunately, we do have an individual or two that are now AWOL with no sign in sight. We're trying to track them down. In all, still improving but not yet up to where I want it.

XO Report:

[FComm Note]No XO report as Ton had a family situation to take care of

GM Report:

[FComm Note]No XO report as Ton had a family situation to take care of

FComm Report:

The situation on the Alliance seems to be a rollercoaster ride. When the CO/XO/GM combination are around, things progress at a steady rate. When they are not, activity drops to almost nothing, and the ship can go a few days without any posts. This hasn't helped the ship to climb out of the slump it's been suffering from of late, but if RL can stop interfering, the Alliance just might be able to get back on track again. Those that have managed to stick around on the roster, and have posted when they have been able to, have been doing well.

USS Asimov

CO: Emma Rouse-Deane
XO: Pamela Dugan
GM: Danny Young

CO Report:

The Asimov has been trundling along quite nicely, although not always in the direction of the sim. With Danny having some rl complications (everyone seems to be having them just lately) the crew has just been happily carrying on with their side sims, which include trying to blow my engineering department up in to itty bitty pieces as well as each other, personal turmoil and tragedy between a couple of engineers and a bout of Andorian flu.

All that being said and done, the sim hasn't progressed a great deal over the past 30 days, but we are now more or less in orbit around Syrus II and I'm hoping we can get the science department whipped into high gear and getting some research done on our myserious blob!

With Stu taking his iLOA means we've lost our COS, and he will be missed. But we've also gained the services of returning members Claudette and Tamzin!!! Watch out folks, we have our crazy counsellor back! Eep!

XO Report:

Well, we're moving along at quite a clip - though most of it seems to be side sims. Everyone is quite creative though, and that helps keep things very interesting.

Well.... we lost Stu - that was a big blow to the ship. We'll all miss him. Once again, Bob Hillis and Earl McCune are delivering star performances on a very emotional topic. And Eddie Cramer, who is playing about 4 medical persons right now - is really bringing life to sickbay. Excellent job guys!

I'd like to add - I think I should get a cookie or something for turning in this report without a million reminder notices from that pesky FCOMM.

[FComm note]you feed me cookies, not the other way around :p

Unfortunately, I've not been around as much as I wish I could have been this week. So this very well may be my fault, but I feel that we're loosing focus of the main sim. It seems that the side sims have taken dominance. I've tried a few times to re-establish what is really going on with the main sim, but it seems my attemtps resulted in... nothing. I think our GM needs to step in and re-take control of the situation.

GM Report:

First off, I would like to apoligise for my lack of posting during the last month. Exams and moving and stuff like that have been hectic and I am now ready to get back into buisness. There hasn't been very much development in the simm since the last report. In the side sim department, there was a major accident in Engineering orchestrated by our very own Adam StClair. That has caused quite a few causulaties and some major system failure. Many of which have been resolved. Medical is now treating the wounded. There are also the other side sims that are keeping everyone busy with very interesting stories. The USS Asimov has finally entered the Syrus system and is aproaching the mysterious entity. Science is beginning to conduct extensive scans. Besides all that, everything is tip top.

AComm Report:

Great job! I am enjoying the stroylines and following the action. Everyone seems to be involved and posting regularly. Keep going and don't slow down!

USS Columbus

CO: Bob Hillis
XO: Patrick Greenwell
GM: Vacant

CO Report:

In the last several weeks, we have lost our beloved GM Stuart Coll. I am currently seeking a qualified replacement. In addition, our CSO and an engineering JO were AWOL'd.

John Lucas is moving from our security JO to the position to CTO and Dallas Daniels is taking over as the new CSO.

We are currently playing out a side-sim involving the wedding of the CMO and CTO. I hope this will sustain us until we can find a new gamemaster. Posting levels have been fine during this period.

Overall, I am happy with the cast of players. I hope we can find a GM soon worthy of them.

XO Report:

Posting rate is good and most people are keeping occupied even though we have no GM with stuart's departure. Crew is working together and have serveral timelines going from a pysch eval, a wedding reception, and meetings about promotions for the crew. Still doing well even though we're drastically low on JOs right now. But all in all things are going good.

GM Report:

[FComm Note] With Stuart taking an iLOA means the Columbus has finished her sim and is currently looking for a new one!

AComm Report:

The Columbus has been pulled off it's mission with the Q due to the loss of our GM. We are, however, in the middle of the wedding of the CMO and a Security officer. The entire ship is on SB202 and partying! Until such time as the new mission comes around, enjoy the reception!

USS Montgomery

CO: Barret Vogtman
XO: Tara Manini
GM: Patrick Greenwell

CO Report:

The Monty is in spectacular condition. There has been some of the best posting I've ever seen this month. There are too many stars right now for me to mention everyone, but I can forsee many promotions in a short amount of time. The only thing the ship is lacking in is j.o.'s, but I believe PD is working on this issue.

XO Report:

The posting level of the ship has increased with the alien wheeling and dealing and the strange behavior of the Captain. I hope that it will be staying up as the sim progresses. I would like to mention Lt. Matt Kepler, he has been quite good about advancing the storyline in a quality manner. I hope that things continue in this uplifting manner. I am impressed at the quality and quantity of the posting that is occuring on this ship.

GM Report:

The wormhole has disengaged from the ring on the ship and the NC/alien host has modified a phaser in hopes of trade with for warp drive technology. Meanwhile onboard the Alien vessal the Away team is relieving the Captain of duty while A med has broken his wrist in the struggle to get the Captain in control and away from his phaser which he shot his CE with. Sim is wrapping up and should be over soon now that the wormhole has detached itself from the ship. And the demonstrationg of the alien mineral has completed itself.

FComm Report:

Apart from the fact that I'm having to prod Barry into posting and into keeping within the AWOL policy for the fleet, the Montgomery is working brilliantly this month. The sim is constantly progressing, and between what Patrick has lined up for the crew, and the various character interactions that has lead to an upsurping of Captain Vogtman's authority and resulted in him being made unconscious, it's been a very action packed and fun filled month. I am curious to just how the Montgomery is going to make it home however!!

Starbase 202

CO: Tara Manini
XO: Dallas Daniels Jr.
GM: Vacant

CO Report:

This SB is just getting back into the swing of things. We have finished a sim and lost our GM but don't count us down and out! I am waiting for responses from the potential GM candidates. As soon as I get a response we can get going again. Until then, we are having a staff meeting! I am hoping that this will become a hopping, lively ship!

XO Report:

*Sigh* I could have sworn I just did one of these things, but tis the life of one in Command. The Starbase's activity has slown down a tiny bit, but things are still going well. Oh and I would like to Thank all of you that welcomed me to the Station. Sorry, no one to highlight as yet but with the absense of a GM and no sim going as of yet it is expected. Nothing further, just hope things getting going on the Starbase soon.

GM Report:

[FComm Note] The Starbase has been enjoying the down time inbetween sims, but will be starting something new shortly!

FComm Report:

The staff meeting seems to be a little stalled, and isn't exactly happening, although Tara has threatened to start prodding her crew or something. There has been some IC interaction, but with some luck that should pick back up once the starbase gets a new GM onboard and the sim gets into full swing. A slow month in comparison with some of the fleet, but nothing to worry about just yet.. I am hoping to see some improvements at the end of the upcoming month.

Crell

Administrator: Larry Garfield

Active Members: Larry Garfield, Ton Geurts, Amanda Noon, Cherie Mayhew, Tara Manini and Jeremy Cobain.

Administrator Report

Crell is, um, Crell. Yeah, most Crell reports read that way. That's a good thing. :-) I'm happy to see everyone active, save for those who suddenly have boyfriends in RL. As always, though, we could use a few more faces. Interested parties, please contact me.

FComm Report

Y'know I'm sure all they do on Crell is end up on the floor together, or eat and drink! The small ensemble cast is interacting with each other quite nicely. The pace is typical of Crell, which is nice and sedate, nothing too strenuous. The posting quality as always is top notch! All in all a normal Crell month!
