The new sim is upon us! The game is afoot with the Capture the Flag sim. In short: get the Kessian's flag or you'll all be brushing the deck with your tooth brushes.
There are some changes that are coming up on Disco. One is that we are trying an experiment on Cadets in a department sharing a cabin - individual rooms with a common area, to encourage more interaction there.

The Discovery has been re-slated as a 'Fast Paced Ship' - this means that AWOL Policies are changed. New AWOL policies are 4 days for DH and Cadets. Command level remains the same at 3 days.

I have edited the ship 'subscriptions'. If anyone is suddenly not on meaning the Wookiee has goofed let me know

Let the pain/game begin! The USS Discovery has been invited to a game of Capture the Flag against a team of trainees from the Kessian Empire, an alpha-quadrant power consisting of very, very large, fast, powerful humanoid wolf-like aliens. The entire crew, sans the Captain and Counselor, are in a large gaming arena, faced off against the enemy. You all have high-tech suits and simulated laser weapons. Get hit, and feel an electric jolt - a constant current of which will slow your body down, simulating some real damage, the more hits you take from the enemy. Engineering can activate and modify defenses and security systems, Medical can repair the simulated damage done to players, science have advanced sensing equipment for tactical use, and security, of course, has a wide array of simulated weapons to use.

There are five primary complexes: Science, Medical, Engineering, Security, and the main Flag Housing. There are even more complexes, all empty, which can be used in any way you see fit. If you are new to the ship, post a note as being in one of the complexes, and your DH will help you get started! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
