STF Is currently on the lookout for both a new Fleet Commander for Fleet Five and an Engineering Department Director.

FComm-5:

Fleet Five is one of our (in this Presidents humble opinion) best fleets and it needs a strong leader to steer it. A successul applicant for the position of Fleet Five Commander will:

- Be either a current or former Commanding Officer within the Fleet or a current or former Executive Officer with command experience elsewhere.

- Have served the club for at least one year, or six months with command experience within those six months.

- Be a proven and competent leader who can show their previous achievements in a command position.

- Be a literate and conscientious administrator intent on enhancing and building the Fleet further.

- Have at least the framework for a solid agenda covering both their plans for improving the ships themselves (including working with command crews to recruit crew, clean rosters and ensure that MOTD's are up to date) and on improving the fleet at large with the development of a unique fleet identity and internal culture.

Have a good grasp of treknology and all things technical? Ever wanted to run one of STF's largest and oldest departments? Then send in your application to become the leader of our most creative department. The successful applicant for the position of Engineering Director will:

- Be a current member in good standing of at least six months. Rank is not an issue in this position.

- Be an ethusiastic and driven individual capable of managing the sensitive ego's of both designers and reviewers.

- Be committed to recruiting interest and new designs for the department and ensuring that reviews take place promptly and with all appropriate civility.

- No experience in a command position is required as full training and assistance will be provided by the President and active members of the department.

- Will have at least the basic framework for an agenda in place to help expand and enhance the Department.
