At age 2 his grand father did some DNA testing on him and his twin sister. She died after that but Ecarioto lived and needs a shot every month to keep his cells from falling apart. No cure is known at this time.

At age 10 his real father and mother had him on their ship but the Borg took the ship and even his mother and father were taken. Before the ship was boarded his mother put him into a pod and sent him out to earth.

After being back on earth his step family loved him so much but they were sad when he joined Star-Fleet. After a few long years he passed and is now on the USS Lexington.

He is a nice man but his still blames himself for the loss of his real family and he has a fury to give them if he has the chance.
