: So this is a semi random response to a discussion that was held in the IDept a few months ago. It was proposed that we make official what had previously been an unwritten rule about the minimum member age being 13. Thanks to our resident legal eagle Dan Lerner, that has been incorporated into the TOS with one or two aesthetic and non substantial language changes. Here's the proposed draft. It'll be up for review and discussion for a week (ending 11th Jan) at which point, if people are happy i'll edict it. This will naturally mean we'd all have to agree to the TOS again the next time we logged in, but that's not too much of a big deal and it does put us in a better legal position in terms of issues concerning *underage* members.

What are these other "aesthetic and non-substantial language changes"? Without a proper changelog I'm not even going to bother trying to figure out what they are, but I can't discuss them unless I know.

I read over the age restriction section, and it looked OK to my non-lawyer eyes.
