Background: Setik was born on Vulcan to a Human father, Terry, and a Human/Vulcan mother, T’Pron. At the age of 12, Setik’s father was killed on-board the USS Whitehorse as a result of a heated battle with Romulan ships, while Setik and his mother escaped. For the next six years, Setik resolved to work to stop as many people as he could from suffering the same fate as his father. To that end, Setik enrolled in Starfleet Medical when he was 18, passing the six-year course in only five. He was appointed to the USS Iowa, but quickly asked for a transfer because the Captain was visibly prejudiced against people with Vulcan heritage.

Physical Appearance and Medical History: Setik looks like any Vulcan, excepting the fact that he has his father’s green eyes. He is fond of saying that his genes are just Vulcan enough to let him mind-meld, nerve pinch, and have the ears. With the exception of a childhood broken leg and a concussion here and there, he is in perfect medical health.

Personal Information: Setik’s most favourite possesion is his collection of starship models. He is married to T’Pria, a full Vulcan, and has a son named Tirik. Both are currently living on Vulcan, at T'Pria's family residence. He loathes sudoku puzzles, and runs his Sickbay seriously, but is not above enjoying the time he spends with his co-workers, so long as they do their jobs well and don't aggravate him.
