He just saw this big shimmery thing that caught the two. And a small notation on our situation, we allegedly crash landed on the planet by means of an EMP and we have absolutely nothing electronic that works including scanners, weapons, electric razors. :p

He was evidently searching through the wreckage in mind to see whether he recalled anything useful like that. "I think we can make something," he said, wishing Elemirre was here to fashion something in her machine shop for the job.

: : : Eric collected the bit of conduit. When he held it up he sighed. It looked pretty pitiful. He felt rather like a naked knight charging a fire breathing dragon. At least he had the goatee to be a Don Quixote. But this was a hopeless looking lance. Then he heard the call from the commander calling to 'mount up'. He looked to Bobovich.

: : : "What did he say? Mount up? On what?" he asked. He looked at the people running about. Now Eric may not be a particularly courageous man, but he was not stupid. Something was happening. "Lets get with them," he said piecing things together. Glancing to Bobovich he asked. "You need a hand?"

: : The tremor subsided and just over the trees, a shimmering wall appeared out of nowhere. It seemed to stretch below the treeline and presumably to the ground.

: Ellis didn't like throwing in his lot with the Xindi who more likely than not caused their ship to crash in the first place but there were more going on than he understood. "Mr. Flynn you seem to have an ability to find things, Take your lasso and Mr. Bobovich and scout out to the mountain range. Report back if you notice something of significance."

Eric looked in dismay first at the wall of .. whatever that was then at the mountains in the distance. 'You're kidding me' he thought to himself. So far away. and he thinks its a casual sprint? He glanced at hop-a-long Bobovich. They should be able to do that in just under a fortnight.

"Aye, Sir," he said, trying not to sound too dismayed.

Turning to Bobovich he said, "You ready? Don't worry. I never made any track records."
