Medical History:
Commander Shiloh Taber, MD, Starfleet Academy Medical Center, reporting - Llakar Harel came to the academy with an extensive amount of previous, and poorly treated, injuries, including phaser burns and multiple broken bones. He shows signs of sensitivity to light and smells due to having lived underground most of his life. Harel underwent surgery to remove his proximity detector implant. I performed the surgery using the methods of Dr. Beverly Crusher found in Star Fleet Medical Database. Harel complains of a strange sensation where his implant used to be. This is likely a 'phantom' sensation, similar to those who have lost limbs still being able to feel them.

Psychological Profile:
Commander Jennifer Mayo, PhD, Starfleet Academy Mental Health, reporting - Llakar was arrested and tried for theft of a shuttle craft and the resulting damage to a freighter after crashing into the bay bulkhead. He was sentenced to enlistment in Starfleet. Upon his own request, he was allowed to test for the Academy and was accepted. Harel has shown no further criminal tendencies.

Harel has found adjusting to life in the academy difficult especially in the area of social interaction. His one known friend is Cadet Ty Napier, who seems to have a negative influence on Harel's behavior. Due to a prank the pair pulled on a professor they have been banned from serving their academy tours aboard the same ship, Harel being assigned the Apollo and Napier the Discovery.

Harel seems to have not dealt with the 'death' of his parents but shows no signs of depression or any other symptoms. Just a lack of acknowledgment of their deaths. He also speaks of a friend, Niko Perry who was killed on Turkana IV. Harel shows a strong affection for this person.
