Mic grew up in the shades of Blarney Castle. Mic lived just outside the village and enjoyed roaming the country side. Mic and a penchant for taking things apart to see how they worked and then put them back together again.

Mic often helped her father with the farm equipment. Mic was not afraid of getting dirty, much to her mother's displeasure. Sarah preferred that the girls learn quilting and homemaking skills. Mic particpated in these activities, however the moment her mother released her, Mic was in the barn with her father.

Mic attended local schools and upon graduation decided to explore other worlds and joined Star Fleet and attended the academy and studied engineering.
