Academy Psychological Evaluation Report:
Sharon came to the Academy a couple of years later than most of her colleagues, and has struggled to make many friendships, preferring her own company a lot of the time. However, she does appear to give absolute loyalty to the few friends that she has made.

Sharon spent over fifty hours in counseling sessions, mostly concerned with her childhood, and the deaths of her parents. Her father was absent for a large part of her formative years, which has resulted in her developing trust issues and struggling to form close bonds with others. She appears to blame her mother’s suicide, when Sharon was 13 years old, on her father’s absence, and subsequently on Starfleet protocols for assigning lengthy missions to those with families.

Sharon believes that her remaining family resent her deeply for enlisting in Starfleet, and as a result, her relationships with her siblings have been greatly damaged.
