I am hereby opening up the position of Assistant Internet Director (AIDir) for application.

Duties of the AIDir include:

- Responding to issues relating to the IDept's work both on the IDept ship and in the IDept project.
- Uploading files to the STF server
- Updating departmental pages
- IRC Administration
- Responding to queries on the IDept ship and in issue queue
- Assisting maintainers in the upkeep of their content
- Looking after department in the absence of the IDir

Skills relevant to the position include:

- Confidence with PHP*
- Confidence with XHTML/CSS Strict*
- Experience with server administration
- Experience with Drupal administration
- Experience with IRC Administration
- Ability to solve problems in a logical and efficient manner.

* - Denotes necessary skill. Applicants should be willing to learn or develop any others they do not poses.

This position is suited to any individual with the above skills and therefore there is no rank or time served requirements. Applicants should be willing to put in several hours each month to the position and a high level of commitment is expected of the successful applicant. Training will be provided as required once the position is filled.
