Caileigh was born in Westhope, ND on 24 December 2352. She is the only child of Dallas and Ashlynn, she was welcomed into the home and loved. Her parents were both teachers in Westhope and the spent weekends in Canada visiting her paternal grandparents in Virden, Manitoba Canada.

In school, Caileigh was a trouble maker. She was often in the office for cutting up in class and making jokes. She did well in her studies. In high school, Caileigh found sports and played basketball and softball. She found that sports gave her an outlet for her energy. She enjoyed spending time with her teammates. Graduating on May 25 2364, she had decided that she wanted to attend Star Fleet Academy to study diplomatic services and medicine.

At the Academy, Caileigh met and married Devin. They both graduated from the Academy in 2368 and were assigned to the USS Andoria. Caileigh was a junior diplomat and Devin was a security officer. They were stationed aboard the Andoria for 4 years.

In 2372, both Devin and Caileigh were promoted to Lieutenants and transferred to Starbase 25. Devin was made the Chief Security Officer and Caileigh was assigned as a diplomatic officer. They spent 4 years aboard the Starbase before heading back out to space.

In 2376, the couple returned to space aboard the USS Saratoga in their respective departments. Enjoying their time in they decided that after 4 years to return to Earth and start a family.

In 2380, they returned to San Francisco and worked at Star Fleet Headquarters. For the next 5 years they worked together at Star Fleet Headquarters. In 2385, Kelli Rachel McKie was born and six months after her birth, Caileigh was offered the XO position aboard the USS Victorious. Devin is joining her and will take care of Kelli while Caileigh is on duty.
