: : : Just curious if there has been any progress on the Recommendations Page issue that we took a look at previously, Anthony?

: : /me scratches his head
: :
: : There isn't a recommendations page issue... The only real problem is that the page is written in such a way that you are limited on the amount of information the page will take (I forget how many characters per entry) before it lists a broken page error.

:
: I spoke with Brian about this in IRC.
:
: After testing all text fields in the Add Recommendation section to 1000 characters, I decided that it was most likely not an an issue of submitted field length. What seems to be the problem is that it does not seem to like the taste of certain special characters - one very common one being the apostrophe, or single quotation mark (depending on how you're using it) - this --> ' <--.
:
: For now, the prescribed solution is to edit the information as necessary, as removing some apostrophes isn't going to drastically alter the content of the recommendations as submitted in the Fleet reports. In the meantime, we continue to work on it.

Actually... it's fixed now. Woops! So much for me being in the loop! :P

I'm going to do a bit more testing first, but indications are that all is now well. Many thanks to AIDir Robert for helping me find the problem, and Jack Dipper for coming in on a paid-under-the-table basis to do the code wrestling for me.
