Nadia was born on 25 December 2355 in Roswell, NM. She is the oldest child of Sky and Fernando. She grew up with a wonderful mix of Native American culture and Hispanic culture. She learned to speak both Spanish and Tewa, the language of the pueblo. Nadia’s culture was well rounded and very rich. Each year, she and her family would travel to her mother’s home for the festivals.

Nadia began school in 2360 at Sunset Elementary School. She was a bright child, often very talkative in class which caused her parents some concern initially. By the time Nadia was ready to start middle school, she had gone the opposite direction and was quite shy, but had developed a strong interest in sports.

In 2366, Nadia began attending Mountain View Middle school and began playing basketball and by her second year, she was playing varsity basketball and was excelling in her studies. Her parents and younger sister attended all of her games and was on the honor roll all but two semesters.

Graduating from middle school in 2369, Nadia started her high school years at University High School. She again played basketball and softball. Deciding that she was interested in medicine and psychology. Her focus became more on her studies than sports, although she maintained agility in both of her chosen activities.

Graduating on 25 May 2373, Nadia attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and obtained her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science and Psychology. Nadia graduated from UNMA in May 2377.

Nadia began attending Star Fleet Academy in August 2377 and focused on Psychology. Graduating from the Academy in 2381, she worked at Star Fleet Medical for four years as one of the Assistant Counselors and in 2385 she was assigned to the USS Columbia as the Counselor. Her desire to work with new cadets on their first training mission is exciting and gives her a sense of fulfillment.
