Captain's Log
A disturbing chapter in the saga of the Lexington has presently unfolded as a voice from my own past has resurfaced. The Master is after revenge of that I am certain. However how she will attempt to take that revenge remains unclear. I must be vigilant or others may get caught in the crossfire.

Captain's Log.
We have discovered a derelict cargo ship in orbit around Abermarle station. The crew are dead and infected with the alien bugs. Albermarle Station appears inactive and silent. The away team to the cargo ship has brought back a dead bug for study. We need to determine whether it was the actions of the terraformers that created this problem and whether or not these bugs have been created through that process. Our main job now is to contain the problem and watch we do not become part of the problem rather than it's cure.

Captain's Log, Stardate 09072.2;

A heavily damaged USS Lexington has now arrived into Starbase for much needed repairs and downtime for its recently overworked crew.

En-route to Starbase, we received a new XO in the form of Commander Sara McGrath.. She was on the shortlist for the XO position previously however at the time Commander Shayifee was chosen instead. She shows great promise and commitment.. why else would she have stayed on the list for the Lexington spot and not move elsewhere. It will be a great pleasure I think.. that we have the opportunity to serve together.

Captain's Log, Stardate 09041.6;

We have now entered the distortion field and are preparing to send an away team over to the Alpha-1. At the same time, myself and the Senior Staff are attempting to find a way to destroy the asteroids which in a similar event as occurred to the Alpha-1 and the Orion Vessel are launching themselves at us..

This log entry is only short, as we are at Maximum Red Alert status.

Captain's Log, Stardate 85020.4;

We have arrived in the region of space where we envisage we will find the Vickerian Vessel.

As yet, we have found no indication of them being there however, my Senior Staff are doing their very best.

As we have no idea as to their capabilities, their communications range or much else about the vickerians apart from the design of their ship, we are having to go about this almost blind however, the Lexington has never failed us before and we will come through this.

Captain's Log, Stardate 08121.5;

Fleet Commander Lucas has informed me that I am receiving promotion to Captain and assignment as Commanding Officer of the USS Lexington as a result of all of the work that I have put in on the vessel.

It is a great honor to serve on the Lexington in any capacity but to be invited to Command it is one higher, I have also been told that we are being re-assigned however I am waiting for mission specifics.

Acting Captain's Log, Stardat 84111.4

With Captain Qasim being taken ill, I have new orders to assume Acting Captaincy of the U.S.S. Lexington until further notice.. That is until I or another officer is appointed to the position of Commanding Officer.

Using my discretion and the advice of a number of my Senior Officers, I am currently avoiding approach to the planet unless absolutely necessary.

I await further orders from STAR-FLEET Command.

Acting Captain's Log, Stardate 08081.4:

Star-Fleet has ordered me to assume Temporary Command of the USS Lexington, Trafalgar Class, Registry NCC-84700 until such a time that a replacement Commanding Officer is appointed.

Initially I was to assume the capacity as First Officer however this was amended when the Commanding Officer was recalled to Star-Fleet on Medical Grounds.

I am to complete a crew inspection tonight however my primary goal is to get my new members integrated into the crew...

For now, I aim to investigate the recreational facilities when we have docked..

Captain Log's, Final Entry, Stardate 2008081.0:

Starfleet has recalled me due to the report given by my Chief Medical Officer, and will be investigating into my illness back at Starfleet Medical on Earth. My transfer is set immediately and I have taken one of the shuttle craft with an Ensign who is piloting me back to Earth.
