He considered her with interest. "I'm pleased to welcome you aboard the Dresden. You're certainly an awful long way from home, aren't you?"

Leon couldn't help but chuckle again at the adolescent-looking Ensign's reference to her time of youth. "What didn't your grandmother like about your planet? Was it the general introversion of your people, or was it something else?," he asked with pronounced curiosity. "Where did you go after you left your people?"
