With the Academy adopting SURF, I decided to move the timetable on this discussion up a few weeks.

I did a quick poll of my Fleet Commanders a few weeks ago, giving them the following options:

1. I like SURF as it is, and I like the idea behind it.

2. I like the idea behind SURF, but think the form needs work.

3. I hate SURF and I don't agree with the idea, and I want to use my own report form.

(Options 3 and 4 have been combined since they are essentially the same).

Five out of Six fleet commanders chose option 2. As a CO and XO, I also have chosen option 2.

Before I direct the Internet Department to redo the form though (which will likely require a new discussion in their department), I want to hear the opinions of everyone else who uses the form. Feel free to just list the number of the choice your prefer, talk a little about your thoughts, or give me another option. Please also list the capacity in which you use the form (CO/XO/GM/Fleet Command).
