The Challenger is in need of both an XO and a CMO. I am accepting appliations until the positions are filled. The strongest applicants will have their application in within 5 days from today.

To be XO, per CADET:

"Academy XOs must have held the position of XO on a mainstream ship for a minimum of three months, and Academy experience is preferable."

In your XO application, please indicate which ship you are currently XO on, or have been XO on in the past, how long you have been an XO, and how long you have been a CO if you are a CO as well. Please detail any academy experience you have, as well as any teaching experience in real life. Also include your posting frequency and availability, and why you will be a great addition to my command team. The Academy XO position on the Challenger requires a lot of OOC paperwork, including monthly Fleet Reports, Cadet Feedback Reports, and Graduation Reports. If you don't like doing reports, this position is not for you. However, we have a very supportive and helpful command team, and are looking for someone who is a team player and looking to make an impact on our next generation of role players. I need someone who can reliably respond to emails within three days. I am more focused on someone who is reliable OOC for this position, though of course standard posting IC will be required.

CMO:

For the CMO position, I am looking for someone who has experience in Medical, and has been in the club at least six months (or is an academy graduate). The role of a DH on the Challenger involves sending Welcome emails to new Cadets, sending AWOL notices to AWOL Cadets, and keeping their Cadets occupied IC when the main sim is not doing that for them. Additionally, I require that the CMO be very reliable IC, since sickbay is often the first visit for ALL Cadets. I would prefer a CMO who can post every three days. In your application, please detail any teaching experience you have, any academy experience you have, how you meet or exceed my expectations, and why you want to be a part of the Challenger team.
