This report reflects Emily's CO submission for the Victorious which I missed previously. It should be noted also that I have double checked and the Prez wants reports in by the 10th and not the 6th as I had believed. Of course I will still need them in previous to the 10th or I cannot prepare the report in time to make that deadline. Thanks all.

: Greeting one and all! As you know there has been a change of hands here at Fleet HQ. Sam is now the aFcomm and I am the Fcomm. Same faces just different chairs. Sam is returning but never left as the CO of the Bonny as well so that ship will hopefully continue to improve with him and Luke at the helm.

: On a more serious note we as a Fleet must take a hard look at AWOL's within our ranks and address the issue. As Fleet Commander I would like to let the CO's know I fully support them in their attempts to keep their ships healthy by enforcement of AWOL limits.

: I would also like to address the Fleet Report. The failure to turn in your Fleet report is serious. Sometimes there are reasons when you do not turn in the report in a timely manner and some people are on LOA. That is understood. When you continually fail to get it in on time or not turn it in that is a problem. As leaders we must set the example. I will address the issue with individuals because those who do turn it in dont need to hear from me more on the issue. Fleet reports are due to Fleet Command by the 4th at the latest so they can be posted within the time frame the President has ordered.

: We are in the middle of a vacation side sim that Tyra Schroll, the CNS, has created for us. She put some work into it and its pretty cool. Its almost as if we are on vacation. Even so posting is down due to the Sim being over and the roster is getting thin. We lost Jon Page to RL at the end of the month. This opened up the CMO position to Liz Caro who has been doing the work load in Sick Bay anyway of late. We also lost every pilot and the future of the Air Wing is in doubt. Still have some issues with AWOL's. Even then the ship is still alive and as always thriving on DH interaction.

: I am thrilled to report that the Ogawa has improved again, since my last report.

: Posting has certainly improved both in quantity and quality. The boards are looking nice and full, and I have a lot to read each time I log on. People are getting involved, and there are side sims cropping up here and there.

: I have taken over the sim, myself, which I have found challenging, but it seems to be going well. My real life commitments have recently shot through the roof, but I have managed to sustain the Ogawa with the help of my crew. It is very near completion and so we will be coming to a time when the crew will have to amuse themselves while we get another sim up and running. I won't be accepting this as an excuse for AWOL either!

: Though Peter has been fulfilling the role of XO behind the scenes for a while now, this will be the start of his official crown wearing reign as my First Officer, and already he is doing more than his share. I expect great things from him, and am pleased I managed to get him before anyone else did. He has been coming up with interesting ideas, and actively seeking out responsibilities and training for the role.
: I want to say a HUGE thank you to Kevin Harbison, my good friend, who has been with me since I took my first faltering steps on the Ogawa. He is staying with us, thankfully, else I would have chained him up and attached him to a nacelle.
: There is still a lot of work to be done. I want to see month by month improvements indefinitely.
: There is still the odd player who continues to dip their toe into AWOL-waters, and for now I am being lenient. When the new sims starts however, I will probably have another bout of meanness, just to keep in shape.

: By next month, I want the sim to be well and truly over, a lot of side sims and character development on the board, and to have a push on recruitment.

: This is my first XO report and I'm quite lucky to be posting it at a time when the ship is on the up, posting rates have been far better recently although to re-tread a tired point there are still a few people missing the AWOL limits.

: The sim is progressing well towards its finale and everyone’s been getting involved. A couple of people I wanted to single out for special praise are Charley for his excellent portrayal of Gavin Rocam, both me and Alex have commented on how realistic his character is almost to the point where I'm beginning to wonder if Charley is really on a starship somewhere and this is an autobiography.

: I'd also like to praise David and Liz for their work on the planet, I know from experience it can be hard being stuck in a location when most of the action is going on elsewhere but they not only kept their posting rate up but the quality was excellent too and they've maintained that momentum now their characters are back on the ship.

: That's not to say that others on the ship haven't been pulling their weight, there's been some great posts from every department.

: With the sim coming to an end soon I expect to see plenty of side sims starting around the ship as we have the freedom to relax a little from the hectic couple of weeks we're having.

: Currently the area we're most lacking in is recruitment, although we've got quite a few characters on the ship we don't have many people this is something I hope we can address especially now the ship is picking up and we've got so much to offer.

: A bit of a dip this month, unfortunately. The CO (Me) and the GM have been kind of kept from STF lately, but the sim is moving forward, albeit a little slowly. : The situation on Karson III has taken a turn for the worse. The two crewmembers who were unfortuante enough to be infected by the toxic environment of Karson IV were transported, along with our CMO and other personnel, to the medical facilities on Karson III. They were promised medical treatement, instead they were threatened with summary execution to prevent spread of the toxin. With the help of the Valk's future IC counselor they seem to be escaping the death chamber. Meanwhile, aboard the Valk, an unidentified person or group has transmitted the formula for a successful treatment. Science has tested the formula and deemed it legit. We are now working to bring the injured crewmembers and their compatriots back aboard the Valkyrie to treat them.
: We have seen steady posting levels over the past month. Only one crewmember fell outside AWOL limits and he is now back in action. We did see one resignation, Patrick Blum, and we hope we may see him back aboard soon.

: I am looking forward to some more side simming among the crew so we can see some character development, but Alex's sim is fast paced and engrossing so it is understandable that our primary focus is in that area.

Things have been very slow recently due to Sy being off with his arm. Things are ticking along but only just. There has been some good character building from some people however which is always good to see. Hopefully things are going to speed up a bit soon and on a good note we do have some new people on board meaning that we actually have an engineering department now - yay!
