Captain's Log,

The posting of my first entry was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and I would say that additional logs would have been posted therefore I will not officially consider this log to be the first entry.

Our current circumstances are quite complicating, confusing and for all of the crew a very busy time indeed. In fact the only reason this entry is being posted is that I now appreciate that given the danger involved a record needs to be made.

It initially begun with a distress call from the Nero. Arriving there they claimed not to have sent us a distress call. Then a distress call from the Colony and upon arrival, the same again. We hadn't managed to draw a conclusion however later the colony came under attack and is heavily damaged.

We currently have in custody a Nyxian believed to be the culprit in all of this. In any event, I imagine we'll find out more soon.
