: : : : : Jorran stepped off of the turbolift and onto the bridge, his shiny new pips glistening in the artificial light. He was not used to checking in with the CO, but was sure the entire process would be no different. He confidently made his way over to the ready room doors and calmly rang the entrance bell.

: : : : Kaya looked up from her desk and sighed. "What now..." she muttered to herself as she stood.

: : : Jorran stepped into the Ready Room, standing a little easily. "I am Jorran Nell, Engineering Lt. Jg, reporting in for duty Captain" said Jorran clearly and calmly.

: IC: "Thank you captain, and yes I did thank you" as Jorran said this he calmly took a seat and carefully sat at attention, his last commander back at Utopia Planetia was exceptionally strict when it came to addressing a superior officer or even sitting in their office.
