: : : : : : : The screen went back to the image of the Warbird ff their bow...

: : : : : : : "Now, what the hell happened?" The Captain asked frankly as he turned back to Commander Asani.

: : : : : : "I'll begin an investigation," Rhynia replied, "Check all sensor logs, make sure someone isn't trying to pull a fast one on us. Investigate the damage to see if I can determine exactly what hit us."

: : : : : "Seraph keep the weapons ready. I'll search the tactical log. I would rather we can fire at a moments notice since you are already there." Alexander said type at the keys checking the tactical logs from before the point of impact.

: : : : The logs clearly showed an energy surge then the Warbird uncloaking and firing upon the Polaris.

: : "Logs show the Warbird is the cause. They fired after decloaking," Alexander said looking up from the controls.

: : : "Check for any sign of tampering with the logs," Rhynia replied, the intelligence training taught her to cover all bases....just in case.

: : Alexander wanted to just trust the logs, but knew that the XO might be right. "Checking now," he tapped on the keys.

: The logs contained no evidence of tampering however the energy source before the Warbird appeared was still unaccounted for as to its origin

"Hmm." Alexander said "There appears to have been some energy surge just before the Warbird de-cloaked."
