2381- Accepted to Starfleet Academy.
2385- Graduates from Academy and promoted to Ensign.

------- Promoted to Lt. (j.g.) and Chief Science Officer.
2387- Takes maternity leaves on Earth and gives birth to identical twin girls.
2388- Returns to active duty and is assigned back to Oed V.

Back ground:

Talia was born and raised in Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. She has long curly auburn hair and bright green eyes. She is the only child of Liam and Tara O'Shea. Talia spent much of her childhood helping out in her parent's old fashioned bookstore and spent many hours reading on a variety of subjects. It was through this learning that she fell in love with science. She was accepted into Starfleet Academy at the age of 22 and graduated in the top 5% of her class. Her first mission was a temporary assignment to Cestus III. She spent a few weeks back on Earth before being re-assigned to OED V.

After arriving on Oed V, Talia found out she was pregnant. Recovering from the shock, she knew that the father was most definitely one Doctor Jack Cain, a former Star-fleet Officer she met on leave on Earth. She fell in love with him, but her new assignment took her far away from Earth where he was teaching at the Academy, and they agreed to end the fling. Jack was reassigned though, and ended up on Oed, much to each other's surprise. Jack was thrilled to learn about the baby and asked Talia to marry him, to which she agreed. A short while later though, he disappeared with only a short note of explanation about 'somethign he had to take care of'. He hasn't been heard from since.

Part way into her pregnancy, Talia found out she was carrying twins! She was promoted to Lieutenant JG and CSO after a long while with no CSO on the colony. Due to complications, she went on maternity leave at 32 weeks, delivering her twin girls at 35 weeks via emergency C-Section. Neev was healthy, but Aiofe had fluid in her lungs and her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck several times. Both spent 7 days in the NICU, and were sent home with Talia after 10 days with no complications.

Talia spent her leave with her parents back in Ireland where they helped her cope with being a single mother of twins. Her return to active duty and subsequent assignment back on Oed means it's the first time she's been completely on her own with the girls.
