: : : : : : : : : I haven't actually introduced Casira to the Bridge yet. I was planning to instigate that and a CSO Check-In thread once her Med and Psych exams were a little further along, but should I go ahead and do so now before the other threads are in progress/complete?

: : : : : : : : OOC: Whatever is best for you Jason.

: : : : : : : I'm just a little worried that if I move too quickly on those other threads I may miss details that only come up later on in the evaluation threads. Like for example if Casira has to deal with the CNS in the main sim and reacts to her a certain way, but then in the examination thread (which is supposed to be earlier in the timleine) something comes up which would affect her reaction in the future, drawing her somewhat out of character.
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : And yet at the same time I don't want to stall the sim or anything either, of course :P I wonder if I might get the Tribble's imput on that issue as well, perhaps along with that of Andy too?

: : : : : :
: : : : : : Well my assumption was that the exam threads were all before the mission started, whilst Athena was still docked at OP42. I figured the best way to get involved was to pull you onto the bridge or send you over to the Romulan ship, assuming you'd always been in one place or the other. If you want to run the exam threads longer before integrating into the main sim, I can go with that, we can still try and work you in later without any more difficulty.

: : : : : : Andy
: : : : :
: : : : : You're right Andy, they are before the main sim. And indeed I'd be happy to get involved in the sim too, it looks like a really interesting plot. My only problem is that the exam threads are taking somewhat longer than I expected to play through...I was hoping we could get a decent way into them and figure out a rough idea of what happened in them before moving onto the rest of the ship, just so I know what has happened so far in Casira's time on board and play her accordingly. I'm just a little concerned about potential plotholes that could arise if I play the sim, which happens later in the timeline, before the exams, which happen earlier.
: : : : :
: : : : : I think if it's okay with you I will hold off just a little introducing Casira into the main sim. I'll do it as soon as possible, but I'd hate for her to mistakenly be drawn out of character so early on in her story.

: : : : Yes, what with Tribble trouble and recent tragedy the posting limit has been overstretched by many and not just in the Athena. I've sent a round of reminders out to people in the hope that we can get the ball rolling again nicely and settle back into a good posting pace :)

: : :
: : : Did that sick Romulan ever get beamed to sickbay on the Athena?
: : : Dan
: :
: : I think that's still in progress. I believe permission was given but I lost track for a bit there.
: : Ian
:
: The Romulan has beamed over with Vic. I'd like Louis and at least one Doctor there to examine and question so we can start getting some answers, but better to have that done OOC, that way we can save some IC time to avoid the sim slowing any more.

: Andy

Thank you Andy and everyone for your patience with me while I work through things here.

I apologise sincerely for everything and will do my best to keep up to date with everything. I'm reading back through prior posts so that I can respond appropriately. Yes, as Andy says, we can assume that the Romulan has come across to the Athena, with the personnel Andy has suggested/recommended.

And I agree, I need to help you all out by picking up the pace a bit and giving you all something interesting to do ... aka move you onto the fun bit of the sim.

Russell
