: : It also showed that there was some form of energy reading at the bulkhead, though it was not one that was identified as having a defined source. It was just there.
: :
: : The panel itself appeared utterly lifeless, though there was an energy emanating from the bulkhead in general. A brief, but faint light passed across the center 'window' in the bulkhead, then was gone.
: :
: : Life scans at this proximity would show the life signs beyond the bulkhead to be stronger - different species though the tricorders were still foiled for better readings. As well another group of life signs came up - beyond the first. Mixed species and perhaps 40m ahead.

: : IC: Sharon studied Kenny's readings over his shoulder. "Similar to T'Kon technology?" she read aloud. She attempted to recall anything she had learned about this race during her time at the Academy, although it wasn't much. "I seem to remember that they were an incredibly powerful race that had telepathic abilities," she commented. "Does anyone have anything else to add about them?"
: :
: : Sharon then noticed Terrik studying the small 'window' in the centre of the bulkhead. She moved to join him. "You might be onto something here, Doctor," she said with a smile, running her own hand over the window in an attempt to clear it and then moving her face close to it to see if she could peer through to the other side.
:
: Indeed Sharon was able to see through. After a bit of grime got wiped off from the long years she could see, well, a mess. Stone boulders were in a cavern of sorts. Some broken support beams and evident tangles of girders was noted as well. She could not see the ceiling. And what was perhaps of keen note was that whatever the transparent material it was almost like it acted as a night vision scope - she could see clearly through it like it was a nearly lit room.
:
: What she could see above that was what might be surprising. To her right she could see some suited figures - Orion by the look of them. Four of them with two horta. The horta were free. To her left she could see a slightly burning glow in the stone of the wall - a moment later the stone seemed to virtually dissolve, and Amicus came through.
: :
: : "Could this door be operated by telepathic means?" she suggested finally. It crossed her mind to suggest that one of the Vulcans perform a mind meld with it, however strange that may sound, but for now she decided to keep that thought to herself, the implicit dangers of such an endeavour outweighing their immediate need to get through to the other side. It was an approach she'd only be willing to try when all else had failed.

OOC: Sorry, I think I just read it in a certain tone and it rubbed me the wrong way, I know it was humour, sounded like I'd written it if I'm honest =D. I know you were only helping, sorry =)
xx

Terrik looked puzzled, "There is very limited knowledge of the Tkon, even the most learned of archeologists know little more than can be learned at the academy as far as I know. Though the idea of a telepathic mechanism is, I suppose, plausible. The technology is indeed advanced."
