: : : : : : : Wolfe examined him with a keen eye for several seconds, wondering whether his agenda was genuine or if there was another, darker cause here. In either case, he'd be ready for betrayal from both ends "Then I trust you will consent to join me aboard this Romulan ship whilst we brief her Commander."

Here it is." The ensign thrust the container holding a tag measuring about 12 millimeters in length. "You will have to ask one of the doctors to impant it."

: : : It would be a relatively easy task for Terrik to implant the tag in Wolfe.

: He submitted himself to have the tag implanted, offering Terrik a nod as he extended his arm. Once the tag was implanted he gestured for Lhoell to follow and left Sickbay, making his way as briskly as possible to Transporter Room 1. He ensured that Lhoell stepped onto the pad before he turned to the transporter chief and gave a few quiet commands as to their destination.

If I do not report in within ten minutes, assume that we have been betrayed and fight your way back to Federation space using whatever means are necessary.=^=
: Without looking at Lhoell, he muttered quietly, his bass tenor taking on the edge of a rumbling earthquake "I'm taking you at your word Lhoell. If you betray me, I will ensure that my face is the last thing you ever see in this life"; shifting his eyes to the transporter chief as he straightened his spine and clasped his hands behind his back "Energise"

"I won't betray you, Nikolai," Lhoell replied as the transporter beam took them away. The transporter beam whisked them away, each of them was lighter than a feather as they were split apart into their molecules and flew across space to the Romulan vessel. They appeared in the Romulan transporter room.

"I greet you Fleet Cap-" Began a Romulan when their ship was rocked, =/\= Report. =/\= Barked that Romulan.

=/\= An unknown vessel has just decloaked, and is firing on us. We've lost shields ... we've =/\= What else was being said would not be known to Nikolai and Lhoell as they were once again whipped off by transporter beam, and once again became molecules. They would appear on another transporter room, obviously a smaller vessel.

=*= We got them both =*= one of the Romulans that were in that room reported. Then a voice that Wolfe would have recognised instantly as being Taurions, replied =*= Good ... you know what to do. Get rid of Lhoell and prepare the good Fleet Captain for transport. Oh, and I'm sure the Captain has been implanted with some kind of tracking device ... while he's being prepared, remove it. Meanwhile we'll get out of here. =*=

Lhoell tried to charge the Romulans that were in the room, even before the Tal'shiar agent got far, he was struck by the beams of both of the Romulans and he was disintegrated with an anguished scream. They adjusted their disruptors and said to Nikolai, "He was the lucky one, he won't be in our 'care'. You though ... you aren't going to be so lucky. You'll be with the boy."

The other said, "don't tell him all our plans, let's stun him and do what Taurion told us to do."

They were adjusting settings on their weapons, which would give Fleet Captain Wolfe time to do something.
