: : : : : : : Casira was merely regarding the various figures impassivley as they each respectivley addressed her, her whiskered face not giving the slightest hint of insight into the thoughts running behind it's blank fascade. Stark's question, however, suddenly seemed to provoke a response - although her expression did not change at all, her gleaming neon eyes seemed to harden like diamonds as they flicked sharply over to the Commander's face, and a distinctly frosty air seemed to descend upon the corridor, as if the internal environment monitors had reduced the temperature around the group.

"I appologise that I cannot be of assistance, but I trust you will be able to continue adequately in my absence. The program is not difficult to operate. I bid you all farewell." And with that, she stepped smartly off down the corridor with her customary long, stiff strides, her slender tail twitching irritably behind her...

"To "play" requires the ability to temporarily and within certain boundaries relax your guard, opening yourself to random possibilities of chance in human relationships. It runs the risks simulateously of physical, mental and personal relationship damage but for most people the risks are far outwweighed by the potential benefits of fun, personal connection and laughter. In the case of Casira I believe the possibilty of allowing someone to see beyong the "vulcan" is scarier than any benefit playing could ever offer. Therefore, she's not willing to go there. Until she feels she can trust one or all of us to a level where she feels safe to be herself, she will not allow herself to be vulnerable. We must be patient, understanding..." Stark grinned " and doggedly persistent".

Also as an aside, it strikes me as interesting how Casira has this paranoia that people are talking about her behind her back, then when she walks away, people begin to talk about her behind her back o.O lol whatever the case I'm glad she's having an impact - I'm fascinated to see the ripples she's causing in the ship and it's crew, and curious how things will continue. Hope others are enjoying exploring the situation too^^)
