Car'el Haar, born on Andoria into a wealthy family.

Served 17 years from the age of 18 in the Andorian Imperial Guard. For the last 4 years of this stint, assigned to Star Fleet on special loan to lead military forces against the Dominion.

After the war, Haar was given honorary discharge from the Imperial Guard, allowing him to step into Star Fleet. Upon his induction, he was immediately given the rank of Marshal Captain, designing and teaching via advanced tactical simulations.

After eight years in this post and others similar to it, he moved into Star Fleet proper, serving as COS aboard the USS Caitrin as his first proper posting. He also served short stints aboard other vessels and stations at the rank of Lt. Cmdr. providing relief work to bring security aboard said ships up to standard.

Given his command background and the necessary experience in Star Fleet, he was given the XO position at the age of 49 aboard the USS Atlantis where he remains.
