I was never part of the enslaved population, but rather part of a freedom fighting cell. There was a reason why I was never assigned to any intelligence missions involving the Cardassians, I specifically requested it and my superiors believed given my history that I could be a liability. This mission and dealing with the Ambassador and his party is bringing back old memories of less happier times," she explained, "In the form of dreams, some aren't terribly frightening, but they're vivid enough that sometimes I swear I'm back in the Desert where I grew up," she paused, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to rant," she blushed slightly, "Maybe I need to bite the bullet and try some good old fashioned drugs."
