The computers in Astrometrics 1, Stellar Cartography 1, and Geophysics 1 suddenly beeped as they received a message from Starfleet Command. The computer was updating itself with all of the data available on the ship's destination, including the orphan planet's topology, as much as there was one, its capabilities of becoming a star, and its position relative to other Federation worlds.

The secondary labs could access all of the information, but these particular labs were showing the information on all of the available displays.
