: : : : : Th'hon was surprised to be the first to the meeting but he rather enjoyed the quiet and was attracted to the viewport. He relished the reality of the cold silent death of space vacuum contrasted as an opportunity for a mission.
: : : : :
: : : : : He squinted at his reflection. 'Who am I? ...and what have I become?' His thoughts turned toward the longing for the touch of certain cerulean being. He turned away from the dark expanse, 'that was long ago and would have never, never materialized. I am a human, just a mere human.'

: : : : : Th'hon, CE
: : : :
: : : : Caileigh walked in "Th'hon. How are you doing?" She asked as she put out a pitcher of water and glasses and some rolls for those that wanted them. Then sat down and leaned back in her chair thinking about the upcoming mission briefing.
: : : :
: : : : McKei (XO)
: : :
: : : He looked towards the XO, "Could be better...-" he said almost to himself, then addressing the XO,"- I am anxious to get immersed in a new mission." He looked at the water and bread on the table, thinking, 'brig rations? This will be a tough mission.'
: : :
: : : He placed his hands on the back of one of the chairs, as if inspecting it prior to sitting, "After some minor coil adjustments just prior to departure, engineering has full capacity for any operation." He slowly walked around the table. "Lt. Nell and Ensign Keto are a fine crew. Have you met them?"
: : :
: : : He found a chair opposite of the viewpoint, he stared a bit, adjusted the chair and sat leaning forward on the table.
: : :
: : : Lt Th'hon, CE
: :
: : Peter walked into the Conference Room with a nod to both of the officers. He knew the one from his earlier meeting, the Commander but hadn't yet become acquainted with the other. Taking a chair opposite the other Lieutenant, he sat down and switched on his PADD ready to take any notes he might need.

: : ~ Lt. Jenkins (CNS)
:
: Caileigh sat down and took one of the rolls "MMM blueberry cheesecake." She said as she spread a small amount of butter on them (OOC: Sorry think of them as muffins or danishes) "No I haven't had a chance to meet them, I plan on coming down to engineering after the meeting and meeting your new crew." She said "I trust you when you say that they are working well."
:
: Caileigh nodded to the Counselor "Counselor. How are you today?" She asked.

: McKei (XO)

Kaya strode into the conference room and smiled at the officers already present. "Thank you all for being prompt, please take a seat." she said as she took her usual place at the head of the table. "I'll make this as quick as possible, thankfully star-fleet has decided to give us a somewhat easier mission this time round. Before we start I would like to welcome Lt Jenkins whom I am sure a lot of you have already met. I would encourage each of you to drop in with the counsellor at some point, especially given the toll our last mission had on the crew."

She allowed herself a split second to think back then pushed it from her mind.

"Anyway, I have had a message from star-fleet that the research team has discovered a planemo that may go nova and become a star, somewhat larger than the sun. It is an orphan planet but there are fifteen satellites in orbit, some of which are planet sized in themselves. One of these satellites has an orbit trajectory which, if the planemo goes nova when the science team have predicted, will be sent on a course towards Vulcan. We are being sent to take more detailed scans and assess the risk this satellite poses. Star-fleet is ready to intervene should the satellite be sent on a trajectory towards Vulcan. Are there any questions?" she asked looking round the table.
