: : : : Walking through the Docking Port just prior to them closing in readiness for the departure of the Victorious, Peter proceeded immediately to the Captain's Ready Room. The reason for his slight tardiness had been that he had spent the past few days clearing out his office and reviewing the Victorious' crew records prior to reporting aboard.

: : : : In any event, what mattered now was that he reported in. Standing in front of the Captain's Ready Room, he chimed the door and waited to be called in.

: : : Kaya took a quick stretch and straightened her uniform. "Come in!" she called out and stood to greet her guest with a friendly smile.

: : Being somewhat of a controversial character, Peter, instead of saluting or merely identifying himself put his PADD hand across his chest and gave a small bow to the Captain before re-extending his PADD hand to the Captain, "Captain Johansen, Lieutenant Peter Jenkins reporting to you as your Counselor."

Kaya smiled and took the PADD from him. "Welcome to the Victorious Lt. I trust you had a good journey?" she asked as she offered him a seat. "Can I get you anything to drink?" she asked, taking a wander over to the replicator.
