Mayson is very laid back and easy going.

Mayson was born in County Cork, Ireland. She is the oldest of three children. Mayson enjoyed a carefree childhood growing up in Cork. Shannon taught at the local school while Mary cared for the children and the home. Mayson attended the local schools in Cork and then attended University in Dublin before joining Star Fleet at the age of 21.

Mayson found a love of travel at a young age. Her family always took holidays to the shore or to Dublin. They always made it an adventure. When Mayson announced that she wanted to attend Star Fleet Academy and study medicine Shannon and Mary were thrilled.

Upon graduating from the Academy Mayson spent time at Star Fleet Medical working in the emergency department before being assigned to the USS Ark Angel.
