Bio:

As a young lad he had his life fairly hard, his parents divorced and he was left living with his mum. However his dad tried to make it up to him so paid for a private school education and Alec never forgot this. He always felt that his poorer background from the kids at school alienated him and so, although was rather popular, became somewhat resentful of his past, in particular his dad's divorce in favor of a new wife and a better life style. Swearing to himself that he would be faithful, loyal and true, everything his father was not, he vowed to be self sufficient and as a result he joined Star Fleet.

He went to the academy and showed little aptitude however with hard work grit and determination he made his way through the academy and was placed on hold on earth whilst waiting for assignment. After not long he became infatuated and engaged with a young woman named Amy. Unfortunately he was assigned to the USS Regent and had to leave his fiancé for an extended period. After a long period he returned to Earth only to find his fiancé had left for someone else. Bitter about this he returned to Star Fleet with new determination and a resentment for any long term commitment. He became a fine officer and was soon assigned a COS position aboard the USS Ark Angel where he has continued to flourish, using his iron grip on the younger officers to better them and keep them in shape.
