Her diastolic pressure, however, had taken a drop from normal. In short, her heart was working overtime to put pressure in to the system that was being somehow lost.

: "Piece of cake," Setik said to no one, and set about doing just that. It was a very crude reconstruction: a tube inserted between the two nearest sections of non-damaged artery, but it would do for the short term.
