We are just beginning in out latest mission, which could more effectively be referred to as a 'helping hand'. There have been six murders on the nearby Starbase. The suspect in the case swears he did not do it, and most people who know him claim he is telling the truth. And yet all the evidence say it was him/

The Mission has finally ended. Four grueling days that seemed to go on for a year. We have made it and hopefully the terrorists that participated in the heinous acts will face the justice they deserve. For the others, I wish that they find the prosperous peaceful future that seek. This can only be done if they help each other.
As for my crew, I have faces leave almost as quickly as they had come. I am on my third XO now. The first one had to depart an hour after our arrival! The Second, Melody Reynolds, was called away to a career path better suited for her destiny.

I have come to command the USS Atlantis, after the previous CO and XO were assigned to a new committee to study the recently "discovered" artificial space. This is my first command ship as a CO and i am excited and terrified at the same time. I was briefly appointed an XO by the name of Commander Steve Dundee, but he was called away due to an extreme wildlife emergency. Conservation was always his first passion. I now eagerly await the arrival of my new XO, Lt. Commander Melody Reynolds.

The Atlantis has been sent to rendezvous with a Moganalu ship called the Melesa at the Kirk Proving Grounds. Our two ships will exchange crew members and conduct routine patrols of the Federation border together. I have instructed my senior staff to begin assigning which crewmembers will serve on the Melesa and we should arrive at Kirk Proving Grounds in approximately eight hours.
