Academy Courses on Starfleet Academy

: Ok,
:
: I know that we are as probably as clear as possible on this issue but I'll highlight it as it was brought up in IRC and we all put into it.
:
: Basically, a Cadet came into IRC requesting to speak to an Academy DH regarding his Engineering Exam. He was demanding to know where his results were and got quite annoyed. when we tried to explain to him.
:
: Effectively, he although it is clearly displayed on the Courses to send it via the Contact Form. Albeit those of us in IRC who understood the Academy Courses tried to explain that all Exams must be sent via the given email address: relevant-subject-tutor[at]star-fleet.com and not the Contact Form as attempts can be made to recover those sent to the correct address but not via the Contact Form.
:
: This person made a comment along the lines of:
:
: "Too much governmental red tape" and "So much hassle for something thats supposed to fun"
:
: We all understand that the Academy Staff do their very best to emphasise our structure but I wondered if it might be something that ought to be added to new Cadets Emails / New Members emails.

It actually wasn't a Cadet and they've been a member for quite sometime. Therefore adding it to the welcome email wouldn't really have that big an effect. It's already quite clear on the exam itself in my opinion. The person obviously thought it was smarter to send it through the contact form.. but I don't think they will again.

P.S I wasn't very hurt by the government red tape comment :)
