Character Biography ___________________________________________________________________________ Velma was born during a war. When she was 7 she was found wondering the streets after being stricken with amnesia when some rubble fell on her and rendered her unconscious. Her parents were the Governing bodies so they fled the area without realizing that Velma had fallen behind then went on. Velma was left with only a puzzle box and was sent to an orphanage. The Puzzle box holds the clue to the where-abouts of her parents but she remembers nothing before she was 7 so doesn't know how to solve it. Velma's best friend from the orphanage encouraged her to use her love of healing and helping to become a doctor and travel to see if she could find clues to her past. So she joined the USS Paladin. When the Paladin was destroyed Velma went to the planet Oed V.
