"He's a friend and I'm sure he can escort me back to my quarters." She needed to talk to someone with some objectivity to help her get perspective so she could decide what to do.

: : "I'll be put her to bed and keep her there," Hanz added for the doctor's benefit, not even realizing until the words came out just how thoroughly inappropriate they were. He tried to keep his face blank, as if he hadn't realized what he said. "And no offense, but I'm sure some natural food will be better for her than hospital food, replicators or no," he added quickly, trying to deflect attention from his earlier comment. : Narima couldn't help but giggle a little and considering everything going on, a little light-heartedness was very much appreciated. "I've got a bunch of fresh stuff from my garden in my quarters. The bonus about this place is that the quarters actually have a kitchen. Shall we cook some breakfast?" she suggested with a soft smile.

"That sounds lovely," Hanz replied. "I've been eating freighter food the past few weeks." He looked at the CMO. "How about it, doc? Let the lady stretch her legs and get some real food?"
