As of 2053EST I was informed by Jen that I would be assuming the role of FComm for Fleet 1. I can only say that I wish things had happened differently, however making another mistake would not correct things as they are now. We move forward. Applications for the position of AFComm-1 will be accepted through the coming week, with a final decision announced no later than 06021.7

Starbase 243 is a non-roleplaying vessel that will continue to be developed as a communications resource. If the vessel's description should change, this page will be modified.

Fleet 1 Attendance Policy is currently:
Command Staff 3 Days
Officers 5 Days
General Crew 7 Days

Currently an LOA / AWOL section will be developed on the Fleet 1 HQ page for the purposes of communicating to the Fleet when a member shall be unable to post, in order to supplement the computerized LOA process (not everyone has the time to send out a notice, but they can often email someone). When an LOA is unofficial, a note will be made who informed us that they would be unable to post. CO's are asked to respect this process, since emergencies do happen, but this is a courtesy, not an order.
