Hanz was quiet as she spoke. The Syndicate. Wonderful. He was already wishing he really wasn't hearing this conversation. He didn't know anyone that had had a good experience with the Syndicate who wasn't a Syndicate member... including himself.

They my daughter Hanz! And so we staged the robbery" She didn't feel very hungry any more and set her fork down. What a bloody mess!

Hanz reached out a hand and put it atop hers. He was silent for a moment. "Why stage a break-in?" he asked, finally. "If he was after information, and didn't get it from you, why would he want to stage it? I'd expect a Syndicate operative to do real damage."
